The Plaza Bonita Family Mexican Restaurants were established in 2003. After working in the restaurant industry for more than 20 years in Washington and Colorado the family decided to move to Arizona to open family friendly Mexican Restaurants that honor beautiful, authentic and fresh Mexican cuisine.

Each location has a full bar, daily happy hour and the largest selection of tequila in the state.

After many years, opening several locations, and navigating a name change from Casa Bonita, we've created a true, local Arizona brand that has earned great reviews. The Plaza Bonita family and staff welcome the opportunity to earn your business.

Catering Services – Most of our locations offer private room in house with full service, drop off service, and off property buffet service with staff. Please call your preferred location for details.

Many of our dishes may be ordered in large sizes to go. We can create any combination of items for your party platters. Buy your tamales from us by the dozen. 

Event Hosting – Private Rooms for functions, parties, classes and events.

Our Tusayan location now serves breakfast and is open at 7 am! While these are are normal operating hours, please call ahead if you'll arrive after 9 pm. It sometimes happens that we have to close early though we try not to.
